As we approach summer, people travel and not as many of us are present on Sundays. This places a large burden on our volunteers.

We surveyed a sample of people from both the 9 and 11 services. The consensus was that we should combine the 9 and 11 am services for the summer into a 10 am service. While the 9am-ers have to go a bit later than they would like and the 11am-ers have to get up a little earlier, it’s the best compromise for the two groups. Thanks for being willing to sacrifice a little for each other! That is love…that is community…we’re all in this together!
Even though it will get a little tight on a few weeks, it will be fun to see everyone together again for a few months…and we can add chairs in a few places.

Since Memorial Day weekend is the traditional summer kick-off, we will begin the summer service time starting on Sunday, May 28th. We’ll do our best to get the word out.

Also, with the new, summer time. We are in need of some people to commit to being ushers to help people find seats and a few people to teach kids church in a rotation (once a month) or as substitutes. Please let me know if you can help. (I also need a few people to help plan our Brecknock Park Days!)
